Electric scooters in India fall into two broad groups.
Low-speed scooters
Scooters with a top speed of up to 25 km/h and motor power up to 250W do not need a driving licence or registration. Our Speedo Breeze belongs to this category.
High-speed scooters
Anything faster needs a valid driving licence, registration number plate and insurance — just like a petrol two-wheeler. All Speedo high-speed models are registered and insured.
